I am a Certified Gatekeeper Instructor through the QPR Institute
who trains individuals on the warning signs of mental illness and suicide. What QPR adds that other trainings don't, are 3 steps on how to help save a life;

1. Question-How to go about asking if the person is suicidal
2. Persuade- How to talk to the person about getting help
3. Refer- Getting the person help

QPR is a researched-based training included in the SAMHSA's National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices (NREPP). After the training, your employees will be trained Certified Gatekeepers in QPR. These 3 steps are not intimidating once being trained in them and research shows that QPR has helped save lives;
